Welcome friends! My name is Regina Posey. I grew up in Gardendale and have lived here most of my life. This seasonal market is my pride and joy in life. When you visit us, you will be treated like family, it's just a Southern thang. If you are passing us on I-65, just hop off the Mt. Olive exit and head East. When you get to Highway 31, turn left and we are less than a mile on the right, you can't miss our signs at the corner of Snow Rogers Road. Call me if you get lost, I'll get you here. 205-285-5303
Products from Alabama Farmers First
Gina's Market sources most of our produce from Alabama Farmers. When produce is in season, you will find our selection booming with the best in locally grown and sourced fresh fruits and vegetables. Many of our boardering states ship their produce to Alabama and we are very selective about what we bring in for our customers.
History
Originally known as Witt's Market, owned by Jimmy Witt. The market opened in 2012 and has been run by Jimmy's life partner, Regina Posey, since the beginning..
The Community grew to love their local corner market and the owners built lasting relationships with people from all over Jefferson County.
On January 14th, 2020 Jimmy Wiitt moved on to the great garden in Heaven. He will always be remembered for his smile, tender heart, love for family and friends, and his faith. Jimmy never met strangers and he helped anyone he could.
Gina's Market, renamed in 2021, will continue Jimmy's legacy to feed and love the people of this community.
